Shore, a rising senior at Cherry Hill High School East, has started a nonprofit to change how people think about the environment and environmental racism. As an avid gardener who finds peace and happiness in tending to his plants, Shore wants to share this passion with others, especially those in communities hurt by environmental problems. As the leader of his school's environmental club, he aims to create green spaces and gardens that will provide people with the same sense of calm and connection to nature that he feels. Shore's commitment to the environment has also led him to intern at Atlantic City Urban Planning and AgroScout, where he has gained valuable experience in urban planning and sustainable agriculture. Through education, partnerships, and volunteers, his nonprofit hopes to inspire a global movement empowering people to grow their own green spaces, nurturing a love for the planet. With big ideas and a dedication to making a difference, Shore invites others to join him in healing the Earth and building a sustainable future.
Audrey is a rising Senior at Cherry Hill High School East, she is passionate about preserving the environment and increasing green spaces within our communities! Maya is a rising senior at Haddonfield Memorial High school. She identifies herself as a keen gardener, spending a lot of her free time tending to her many plants. Maya enjoys being outside, going on walks, and hanging out with her cat. Along with this, she also spends her time researching how nature impacts communities, sparking her passion in Seeds for the Soul. She finds passion in things such as nature and animals, along with helping preserve each. She recently got into helping create pollinator gardens through learning about the importance of bees in her Environmental Sciences class.

Sophia recently graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in Environmental Public Policy and Law. Their love for gardening and pollinators began during a summer spent participating in the Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) program at Bluebird Trail Farm in Corning, New York. Sophia is passionate about providing equitable access to fresh food and fostering pollinator growth, having taken numerous classes on food security and beekeeping. They are excited to bring their experience as an AmeriCorps member with Volunteers Improving Neighborhood Environments (VINES) and as an intern at GrowTorah to the Seeds for the Soul team.
Nature has always been a source of inspiration and tranquility for me. Growing up in New Jersey, I've spent countless hours exploring the Pine Barrens and enjoying the serene beaches. These experiences have made me deeply appreciate the beauty and importance of our environment. To help protect it, I encouraged my parents to get an electric car and install solar panels at home. This way, we can reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a healthier planet for future generations. Being close to nature has truly shaped my values and actions towards sustainability.
