Shore, a Freshman at University of Southern California, is an avid gardener who finds peace and happiness in tending to his plants. Shore wants to share this passion with others, especially those in communities hurt by environmental problems. As the leader of his school's environmental club, he aims to create green spaces and gardens that will provide people with the same sense of calm and connection to nature that he feels. Shore's commitment to the environment has also led him to intern at Atlantic City Urban Planning and AgroScout, where he has gained valuable experience in urban planning and sustainable agriculture. Through education, partnerships, and volunteers, his nonprofit hopes to inspire a global movement empowering people to grow their own green spaces, nurturing a love for the planet. With big ideas and a dedication to making a difference, Shore invites others to join him in healing the Earth and building a sustainable future.
Maya Kreismer, a freshman at Temple University, currently serves as Co- founder and Co-president of Seeds for the Soul. Since she was a child, she has always been interested in finding different ways to give back to our Mother Earth. Passionate about sustainability and working within her community, her and her team use community outreach within events and workshops to help create green spaces and raise awareness about environmental disparities between communities. Through Seeds for the Soul she hopes to help create more green spaces for everyone.
Sophia recently graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in Environmental Public Policy and Law. Their love for gardening and pollinators began during a summer spent participating in the Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) program at Bluebird Trail Farm in Corning, New York. Sophia is passionate about providing equitable access to fresh food and fostering pollinator growth, having taken numerous classes on food security and beekeeping. They are excited to bring their experience as an AmeriCorps member with Volunteers Improving Neighborhood Environments (VINES) and as an intern at GrowTorah to the Seeds for the Soul team.
Nature has always been a source of inspiration and tranquility for Durani, Growing up in New Jersey, he spent countless hours exploring the Pine Barrens and enjoying the serene beaches. These experiences have made him deeply appreciate the beauty and importance of our environment. To help protect his environment, Durani encouraged his parents to get an electric car and install solar panels at his home. Through his lifestyle, he helps reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a healthier planet for future generations. Being close to nature has truly shaped his values and actions towards sustainability.
Walter is a rising senior at Cherry Hill High School East. He joined this cause because he founds himself extremely dedicated to environmental preservation and sustainability, and by his passion for fostering green initiatives, he is determined to make a meaningful impact in his local communities. His commitment to strive towards environmental conservation reflects a hope for a more sustainable and eco-conscious future. Walter's progressive and forward-thinking zeal inspires those around him to join the cause for a healthier planet.
Harnoor is a rising senior at cherry hill east high school. He enjoys taking pictures and spending time with his family and dog. He believes that while trying to save the environment may seem like an impossible task for one person if we all play our part it can become a whole lot easier.
Roberta is currently a senior at Cherry Hill High School East. She is deeply passionate about how environmental and social factors impact public health. Additionally, she is highly enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions to help improve communities. With a strong interest in advocating for sustainability efforts, she endeavors to create meaningful change by championing sustainability. Through her efforts, Roberta constantly strives to educate herself further on environmental and climate related conservation efforts and addressing misconceptions pertaining to these issues.
Aarav is a senior at Cherry Hill High School East. He is a passionate advocate for environmental conservation, who wants to bring green spaces to communities that need them most through Seeds for the Soul. Personal interests in biology and the natural world has inspired him to engage with environmental projects that promote biodiversity and sustainability, especially in urban areas where access to nature is limited. By working with Seeds for the Soul, he hopes to create a positive change in his community by educating others about the importance and benefits of green spaces. His goals in the organization are to help people connect and take care of nature while developing a sense of community through shared efforts.
Brad is currently a junior at Cherry Hill High School East. He connects to the environment because it provides peace and inspiration, which helps him escape daily stress. The beauty of nature shows him how everything is connected and why it’s important to take care of our planet, which he strives to do daily. His time spent outdoors (specifically in beaches and forests) has made him appreciate the balance of ecosystems, how essential they are for our lives, and how important the Seeds for the Soul purpose is.

Whether hiking in local parks or volunteering for community clean-up events, she feels a strong connection to nature and believes in the importance of preserving it for future generations. This passion drives her to advocate for sustainable practices, and she actively seeks opportunities to educate others about the impact of their choices on the planet.
Isabel’s passion for the environment flourished in her AP Environmental Science class, where she gained a deeper understanding of ecological systems and the impact of human activity on the planet. Through engaging discussions and hands-on projects, she learned about the importance of biodiversity and conservation efforts. This motivated her to advocate for primate conservation and the protection of their natural habitats. Isabel is now committed to raising awareness about environmental issues and hopes to inspire her peers to take action in safeguarding not only apes but the entire ecosystem they rely on.
